Dear Friends, 

In 2010 – shortly after I moved to Lake of the Woods to retire – I was “discovered” by a teacher at St. Michael High School who was a lot like the person in Luke 11:5-8. She kept after me to come to St. Michael to offer Mass for the students and staff until I finally agreed. My association with this school has blessed me without ceasing ever since! 

I thank God every day for the gift of knowing and forming lasting friendships with the amazing young people I’ve met here over the past 10 years. So many have now completed college and are already changing the world for the better.  At this humble, not-too-big school it’s possible to know everyone, recognize and encourage their gifts and talents.  What a gift from God this school is to this area!  “My cup truly runneth over.”‘
