How to Apply
At Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic High School, our admissions process reflects our commitment to maintaining an intimate, Christ-centered environment where students are formed as leaders in faith, leadership, servitude, and knowledge. Meeting application deadlines is essential to ensuring space availability and to receiving priority consideration for financial aid.
Applying for the 2027–2028 School Year: Important Dates
- December 31, 2026: $500 tuition discount if application is completed by December 31, 2026.
- January 22, 2027: School application priority deadline to guarantee an on-time admissions decision. All supporting documents must be submitted by January 31, 2027.
- April 1, 2027: $250 tuition discount if student application is completed by April 1, 2027.
- April 15, 2027: Financial aid priority deadline. Submit financial aid applications through the online FACTS system by April 15, 2027. Financial aid applications are only reviewed when all appropriate supporting documentation is submitted. Later submission applicants or priority applicants with delayed supporting documentation will be reviewed based on remaining funds.
- $250 additional tuition discount for students from local Catholic private schools.
Application Procedure
To apply for admission to Saint Michael, please complete the steps listed below. You may also download a copy of the Admissions Checklist here.
1. Submit the Application – Complete the official online application form. If you prefer a paper copy, you may print the application form here and return them to the school office.
2. Submit the $65 nonrefundable application fee (payable online or in person).
3. Provide Required Documents
- Copy of student’s baptismal certificate (for Catholic applicants)
- Copy of student’s original birth certificate
- Student’s most recent immunization records
- Student statement – one to two paragraphs written by the student about why he/she would like to attend Saint Michael’s.
4. Submit Recommendations
- One recommendation from a math or English teacher (click here for paper form)
- One character recommendation (a written letter of recommendation from a priest, neighbor, coach, or other personal reference.)
5. Optional: Apply for Financial Assistance – Complete the financial aid application through FACTS.
Next Steps
Once the application and required documents are received, the admissions team will:
- Review the candidate’s file
- Invite the student for an admissions interview and admissions testing
- Notify the family of the admissions decision by mail within one week of the interview and testing
